Iranians in the capital Tehran celebrated Eid al-Ghadir which commemorates the anniversary of Ghadir Khumm Event, in 632 A.H., when Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) introduced Imam Ali (AS) as the first Shia Imam and his successor. In a 10-kilometer street festival, People marked the occasion while renewing allegiance with the Islamic establishment and the Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
