Memorial service for Martyr Ayat. Khamenei held in Shiraz (photo)

The holy shrine of Hazrat Shahcheragh (AS) in Iran’s central city of Shiraz hosted a memorial service for the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei who, together with four members of his family, was martyred in a US-Israeli attack against Tehran on February 28. The ceremony follows six days of funeral processions held in different Iranian cities as well as the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf in Iraq before the final burial at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad on July 9.
