Cleric warns against repercussions of schism, distancing from holy Qur’an

A prominent Iranian cleric has warned against repercussions of disunity among Muslims stressing that the ongoing catastrophe in Gaza is in fact the result of such that plague.

Mamusta Mohammad Saleh Haji Hashem Abad, the Friday prayer leader of the Sunni community in Piranshahr, West Azarbaijan Province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) highlighted the role of Islamic unity in confrontation with Israeli plots, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).                                                                                                                                                                                             

He said,” The solidarity within the body of the Islamic nation must be boosted” referring to the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza as an important lesson for the Muslim world that has clarified necessity of solidarity for all Muslims.

The cleric warned that the failure to boost unity would embolden enemies to launch attack on Lebanon and other Islamic lands once the issue of Gaza is settled.

Mamusta Hashem Abad said,” It is a shame if we (Muslims) are dispersed based on the ideologies of some extremists” warning that any damage to the unity or hatching plots will lead to repercussions for the world of Islam, an instance of that the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

He said,” As a result of plots and beating the war drums by those who seek disunity, we are witness to the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine and massacre of its people.”

The Iranian prayer leader urged for solidarity in Muslim world saying that the world of Islam is paying the toll for flaws of those who promote dispersion.
