Iranian cleric: A prominent Iranian Sunni cleric has condemned the Israeli desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque stressing that once the world of Islam unite, Israel cannot desecrate the Islamic sanctities.

Mamusta Khedr Abdollahian, member of the clerical council in Iran’s West Azerbaijan Province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) said the reason for constant Israeli aggression against holy al-Aqsa Mosque is the psychological pressure Israel suffers due to expansion of Islam across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He noted that the Muslims must not take reciprocal measure against Israel’s brutality to the holy al-Aqsa Mosque since that would introduce a violent image from Islam to the world people.
 
“Today, the solidarity among Muslims must be revived under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei”, said Mamusta Abdollahian stressing that,” Once Muslims achieve unity, Zionist Israelis and enemies cannot desecrate the Islamic sanctities.”
 
The Iranian Sunni cleric called on the Muslims to maintain their solidarity based on their shared holy book, Qur’an.
