“Islamic unity, solution to all Muslim world issues”, cleric

An Iranian Friday prayer leader has highlighted importance of unity in the world of Islam stressing that as the solution to all issues challenging Muslim nation.

Sheikh Masoud Rahbar, the Friday prayer leader of Sunni community in the port city of Bandar-e Lengeh made the comment in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He warned against plots challenging the world of Islam emphasizing that convergence of Muslims could settle several issues across Muslim world.

He also warned against enemies who struggle to divide and distance the Islamic countries calling on Muslims to prioritize their commonalities, humanity and fraternal relations among themselves.

The top Iranian cleric hailed the 1978 Islamic Revolution for reviving the solidarity among Islamic denominations in the country.
