A senior Iranian cleric has highlighted the role of jurisprudence during the 12-day Israeli-imposed war in Iran.
12-day war revealed key role of jurisprudence
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Khanbabaei, the Friday prayer leader of Nushinshahr, in Iran’s West Azarbaijan Province, said in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) that the developments over the 12 days of Israeli offensive against Iran revealed the importance of the jurisprudence and its unmatched role.

Pointing out that we consider the blessing of guardianship to be an extension of the guardianship of the Ahlul Bayt (AS), he clarified: God Almighty does not leave His guardian alone in dangerous scenes and guides and instructs the Islamic community with the guidance and inspirations given to him by God.

Referring to the need to support the leadership against military audacity and the use of terror rhetoric against the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Hujjat-ul-Islam Khanbabaei stated: "All people and politicians in the world are familiar with Trump's rhetoric and consider him a disgusting and offensive person."

He continued: "Trump's behavior was a threat, but it is empty, and undoubtedly” and added, "In the face of these threats, everyone from the Islamic community has a mission to support the Leader, meaning they must listen to his commands properly and government agencies must also carry out their duties properly."

“If the enemy has the audacity to carry out his threats,” said the Iranian senior cleric and added, “Then if there is no national cohesion and unity, these threats will turn into opportunities and the enemy will strike back.”
