The Manifestation of Islamic Unity in the Light of Love for Imam Hussein (AS)
This invitation not only reflects the deep reverence of Sunni Muslims for the sacred household of the Prophet (PBUH), but also serves as a powerful symbol of national cohesion and Islamic awakening in the face of divisive plots.
In his interview with Taghrib, Mamusta Mahmoudi stated: “The Arbaeen walk is a profound expression of Hussaini passion and consciousness. It is an unparalleled symbol of unity among the Islamic Ummah. This monumental event is not merely a religious gathering—it carries a global message of peace, justice, and resistance against oppression. For those unable to reach Karbala, the local Arbaeen walk offers a unique opportunity to join the spiritual tide of pilgrims and renew their commitment to the noble values of Ashura.”
Emphasizing the unifying power of this ceremony, he added: “We invite all people—especially youth and families—to participate actively and wholeheartedly in this walk. Through this presence, we not only express our devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), but also strengthen national solidarity and Islamic unity. This movement is a clear sign of Islamic awareness and the will of the people to confront the schemes of enemies.”
Mamusta Mahmoudi also highlighted the significant role of Sunni Muslims in honoring Islamic rituals: “Arbaeen belongs to all Muslims—Shia and Sunni alike. By participating in this walk, we not only express our love for Imam Hussein (AS), but also affirm that Islamic unity is a fundamental and undeniable principle in the face of sectarian division.”
He concluded: “Today, more than ever, we need empathy and cooperation. The Arbaeen walk for those who remain behind is a chance to send a powerful message of unity, resistance, and love for the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) from the heart of Islamic Iran to the entire world.”
