Imam Hussein (AS) is Imam of All Muslims and Free People
"Any free, honorable, and faithful person who values justice and liberty follows Imam Hussein (AS). We have come here [to Karbala] to be inspired by Imam Hussein (AS), who sacrificed his life for the principles and values of Islam."

Sheikh Nizar Rabah, a member of the Palestinian Association of Scholars, spoke with Taghrib News Agencyon the Arba'een pilgrimage route from Najaf to Karbala. He discussed the message of the pilgrimage and the unique aspects of this year's event, especially given the developments in the region, including Gaza.
He stated that Imam Hussein's (AS) uprising was a defense of the Islamic nation and the religion of his grandfather, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He clarified that Imam Hussein (AS) did not rise for worldly power, but solely for his faith. "A handful of oppressive and tyrannical people martyred the grandson of the Prophet, the son of the Prophet’s daughter, along with his children and companions. Imam Hussein (PBUH) is the Master of Martyrs."
Sheikh Rabah added: "This is the fifth time we are participating in the Arba'een pilgrimage on the road of the free people, and we have set up the 'Nida Al-Aqsa' (Call of Al-Aqsa) station along this route. We want to keep the issue of Palestine alive, given that this massive crowd of pilgrims has come from different countries out of love for Imam Hussein (AS) and Islam. We want them to pay attention to the issue of Palestine, because today, the issue of Palestine and the oppression of its people and the crimes being committed against them are heartbreaking."
He continued: "Today, for the first time in history, we are witnessing the live broadcast of crimes committed by the Zionists against the people of Gaza, the killing of women, children, and the elderly. They are destroying the homes of the Palestinian people, displacing and starving them."
When asked how the occasion of Arba'een can be used to serve the lofty goals of Islam, especially the issue of Palestine, he reiterated: "Imam Hussein (AS) is a universal Imam for all Muslims, Shia and Sunni, and has even become an Imam for all the world's free people."
He added: "Any free, honorable, and faithful person who values truth, justice, and liberty follows Imam Hussein (PBUH). We have come here [to Karbala] to be inspired by Imam Hussein (PBUH), who sacrificed his life for the principles and values of Islam."
Regarding his evaluation of the participation of Sunni scholars in the Arba'een walk, Sheikh Rabah stated: "Sunni scholars believe that Imam Ali (AS) was the first to be oppressed, and this oppression continued until the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS). Sunni scholars want to make the oppression of Imam Hussein (AS) known to everyone and spread a culture of awareness and awakening in the hearts of the Islamic nation that Imam Hussein (AS) was killed unjustly and that the Islamic nation must correct its path and follow his example."
He concluded: "Today, we are drawing the world's attention to the foremost issue in the world, the issue of Gaza. The world must pay attention to Palestine. Gaza is being exposed to destruction, killing, and genocide, and unfortunately, the world is just watching, as if it has no relation to them. Imam Hussein (AS) also faced oppression and cried out, 'Is there anyone to help me?'"
