In an exclusive interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), he referred to the theme of the 39th International Islamic Unity Conference—“The Prophet of Mercy and the Islamic Ummah”—and stated that by relying on the Prophet’s teachings and way of life, Muslim countries can work toward the prosperity and happiness of all humanity.

He stressed that these teachings are timeless and universal, offering guidance to all people regardless of time or place.
Regarding the annual Unity Conference held in Iran, Abdul Hamid praised Iran as the only country seriously and practically pursuing Islamic unity. He criticized the inaction of certain Muslim nations, accusing them of prioritizing national and economic interests and appeasing Western powers.
In conclusion, he condemned the genocide of defenseless people in Gaza and called on all Muslim countries to take immediate and practical steps to end the Zionist regime’s attacks.
The 39th International Islamic Unity Conference began on Monday, September 8, with the participation of 80 prominent scholars, 210 guests, and 2,800 activists from across the Islamic world, and will continue until Wednesday, September 10.
