Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Mohammadreza Mirtajeddini, the legal advisor of the parliament speaker, quoted the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, to dismiss as ‘mere quagmire’ any nuclear negotiation with the US, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He warned that neither the US nor Europe are reliable calling them as colonial powers of history that that today, in the form of neo-colonial powers, seek to dominate the world countries.
The cleric noted Tehran’s commitment to the 2015 nuclear agreement, Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) from which the United States withdrew.
The advisor of Iran’s parliament speaker said,” Europeans and the IAEA did not fulfill their commitments to the September Cairo agreement, as the US did not allow Europe to carry that out.”
Referring to the smart views of the Leader of Islamic Revolution, former lawmaker said,” Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized from the beginning that negotiations with the United States are useless and a pure loss, and today it has become clear.”
He added,” The Leader has once again emphasized that the United States is not seeking real negotiations with Tehran, but rather its goal is to surrender Iran and impose its views in various areas, including nuclear, missile, and regional relations.”
