Speaking to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Mohammadi stated that for many years, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stood firm in defense of Islamic values and the sanctity of al-Quds, playing an irreplaceable role in shaping and strengthening resistance across the region.
He noted that while Nasrallah’s martyrdom plunged Lebanon and the broader Islamic world into mourning, it also reaffirmed the commitment of nations to his ideals. “His sacrifice did not weaken the resistance,” Mohammadi said, “but rather deepened its roots in the hearts of Muslims and freedom-seekers worldwide.”
Highlighting the far-reaching impact of Nasrallah’s legacy, Mohammadi said: “His teachings on sacrifice, perseverance, and resistance against imperialism continue to inspire nations standing against the oppression of the United States and the Zionist regime. His legacy has embedded enduring principles—defiance against domination, support for the oppressed, and steadfastness in the path of God—within the soul of the Islamic Ummah.”
He acknowledged the challenges that followed Nasrallah’s martyrdom, stating that while Hezbollah’s subsequent commanders have remained loyal to his vision, Nasrallah’s unique stature—his charisma, clarity, decisiveness, and spiritual influence—cannot be easily replaced. “Filling that void requires time and profound experience,” he said.
In conclusion, Mohammadi affirmed: “The path of resistance has been sealed with the blood of this great martyr. As long as the Islamic Ummah remains committed to his ideals, this path will remain illuminated and enduring.”
