Mamusta Bakhtiari: Jewish Hostility Toward Islam Has Deep Historical Roots

He emphasized that even before the advent of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Jewish communities among the Arabs were a source of division and conflict, and their enmity reached its peak during the Prophet’s mission.
Mamusta Bakhtiari: Jewish Hostility Toward Islam Has Deep Historical Roots
In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Bakhtiari said: “A careful study of Islamic history—especially its political dimensions—reveals the longstanding hostility of the Jewish people toward Muslims.”
He added that today’s Zionists in occupied Palestine are pursuing the revival of colonial and hegemonic agendas across the Islamic world. “In past decades, these provocative slogans were expressed indirectly. But in recent years, global Zionism has openly and unapologetically voiced its expansionist ambitions.”
Bakhtiari criticized the passive stance of many Islamic governments in the face of Zionist aggression. “Instead of confronting this wave of brutality, they have adopted weak and submissive positions,” he said.
He warned that Zionists, with support from the United States and other regional allies, have been working to redraw the map of the Middle East according to their own interests—a development he described as dangerous for the future of Muslims.
Concluding his remarks, Bakhtiari lamented that many Arab and Islamic countries are now seeking to normalize diplomatic and economic relations with the occupiers of Jerusalem. “This is nothing short of a betrayal of the essence of Islam,” he said.
