Citing the verse “Hold fast to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided” (Qur’an 3:103), he explained that the Prophet practiced peaceful coexistence even in Mecca among polytheists, and later in Medina, he adopted two complementary approaches: Establishing bonds of brotherhood among Muslims. Forming coexistence pacts with Jews and other religious minorities.

These approaches, Bahmani said, demonstrate that the Prophet sought mutual respect and social order not only within the Muslim community but also across religious lines—an enduring model for today’s multiethnic and multifaith societies.

A Unified Ummah: Pillar of Muslim Dignity and Strength

Bahmani affirmed that Islam is a universal religion, not confined to any ethnicity or region. The Prophet was sent as a mercy to all humanity, and his mission transcends linguistic and cultural boundaries. He identified the Qur’an, Prophetic tradition, and rational thought as the three foundational pillars for building a unified Ummah.
He added: “If the Muslim world moved under unified leadership and based on these three principles, enemies would not be able to dominate us. Despite relentless bombardment and full Western support, the Zionist regime failed to break Gaza’s resistance—proof of the power of unity and Islamic solidarity.”
Bahmani pointed to signs of Islamic dignity in today’s world, noting that the call to prayer echoes in cities like New York, and Muslims now hold leadership positions globally—symbols of progress and pride for the Ummah.

Islam: A Global Faith with Civilizational Dialogue

In closing, Bahmani emphasized that Islam is a global, civilization-building religion capable of fostering friendly, effective, and unifying dialogue with other divine faiths. He stressed that such engagement must preserve both Islamic values and universal human principles, paving the way for global peace and sustainable coexistence.
