The martyred leader was the standard-bearer of the fight against Islamophobia and the herald of Muslim unity

Zafar Bangash, director of the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought in Canada, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), regarding the intellectual legacy of the martyred leader in combating Islamophobia, said: "Islamophobia is a global phenomenon deliberately promoted by imperialists and Zionists."

He added: "This is part of their program to justify attacks on Muslim countries."

He continued: "Unfortunately, apart from one or two other Muslim leaders, the martyred leader, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was the only leader who courageously stood against this phenomenon, and due to his status and influence, both Muslims and their enemies paid attention to his positions."

Bangash noted: "The martyred leader, in his speeches, spoke explicitly against Islamophobia and its promoters. He not only called on the people of Iran but also Muslims around the world to stand against and challenge such evil forces."

He emphasized that the martyred leader warned Muslims that if they surrender to one demand of the enemies, they will face other unreasonable demands.

The martyred leader awakened the spirit of sacrifice in young Muslims in the West

The director of the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought in Canada said: "The martyrdom of the Supreme Leader has had a profound impact on the young Muslim generation in the West. They observed that a leader at the age of 86, with will and awareness, sacrificed not only his own life but also the lives of his family members to preserve dignity and honor."

He added: "This action has been inspiring to them. His sacrifice has revived the spirit of selflessness and sacrifice in them. Indeed, this sacrifice has inspired millions of followers of other religions as well, and its effects will be felt for a long time."

The Islamic Republic of Iran has had firm support for the Resistance Axis

He noted that the martyred leader was one of the greatest supporters of Muslim unity. The holding of numerous conferences in the Islamic Republic of Iran, many of which were organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, is clear evidence of this commitment.

Zafar Bangash said: "In these gatherings, scholars from all schools of Islamic thought participated. The martyred leader also spoke at these conferences, calling on Muslims to set aside their differences and strive for unity. The result of this commitment to Islamic unity is that today, despite political differences among some Muslim countries, a broad consensus has formed on the urgent necessity of Muslim unity."

He noted: "The martyred leader himself was a model of this thought in practice. The Islamic Republic has always firmly supported the rights of the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Muslims struggling in other parts of the world, and remains committed to this support. In this, a clear model has been formed, such that imperialism and Zionism have been exposed as enemies not only of Muslims but of all humanity. People in various parts of the world have risen against these evil forces, and this is especially evident among Muslims."

The necessity of promoting Ayatollah Khamenei's simple lifestyle for the younger generation

Bangash further identified the most effective way to introduce the legacy of the martyred leader to the younger generation as promoting his simple lifestyle and thoughts, and said: "Those of us who had the honor of meeting the martyred leader were inspired by his simplicity and humility, despite his position as the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

He stated: "His thoughts, as reflected in his speeches, should be more widely introduced so that Muslims and non-Muslims around the world become familiar with them. The internet is an important platform for achieving this goal."
