Media must present a true image of Iran's leader's political and cultural legacy to the world
A Chinese historian, art activist, and well-known influencer, emphasizing that the passing of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution is not merely a domestic event for Iran, said: "Media have a duty to present a true image of his political and cultural legacy and Iran's place in the world."

Wang Hao, a Chinese historian, art activist, and influencer who had traveled to Tehran to participate in the funeral ceremonies of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), described this event as one of the most important political and historical events of the 21st century.
Stating that the effects and consequences of the passing of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution extend beyond Iran's borders, he said: "This event will impact international equations and the world's view of the West Asia region, and for this reason, it requires an accurate and fair narrative from the media."
Wang Hao, referring to the historical background of Iran and China, said: "Ancient civilizations, unlike many modern countries, carry a several-thousand-year heritage with them, and this characteristic has made their view of the world different."
He also, criticizing the approach of some Western media, emphasized that civilizational differences and ideological prejudices, in many cases, hinder a correct understanding of the Islamic world.
This Chinese researcher described the role of media in the current situation as very decisive and said: "Restoring truth to the public space is not only the duty of journalists, but requires cooperation among historians, thinkers, sociologists, and researchers in the field of civilization to provide a more accurate image of the developments in the Islamic world to public opinion."
Wang Hao, referring to the personality of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, described him as one of the few leaders who possessed knowledge, political foresight, and cultural backing simultaneously.
Referring to his second visit to Iran, he described Iran-China relations as deep-rooted and based on civilizational commonalities, and said: "The two nations, despite having an ancient history, face similar challenges in the contemporary world and can, by relying on their cultural and historical heritage, offer new solutions for solving today's problems."
In conclusion, he emphasized: "If the media cannot properly narrate the truth, the gap between reality and public opinion will grow every day; while a correct understanding of ancient civilizations can contribute to greater understanding among nations and building a better world."
