Calling for Islamic unity was among the most important characteristics of the martyred leader
Seyyed Shamshed Hussain Rizvi, the Friday Prayer Leader and head of Al-Tawhid Mosque in Oslo, Norway, on the sidelines of the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, expressing deep sorrow over this tragedy, stated: "The news of the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei (may God have mercy on him) and the other martyrs of this incident was a great grief for all of us. This tragedy was not limited to Shiites, but Sunnis and even many non-Muslims in various parts of the world were also affected by it."

He added: "In Norway, this incident also had a wide repercussion. From the second day after the news was released, we held a commemorative and mourning gathering with the presence of all segments and nationalities of Muslims. Iraqis, Lebanese, Iranians, Afghans, Indians, and Pakistanis all attended this ceremony, and men and women, with great sorrow, wept in mourning for this great figure."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Al-Tawhid Mosque in Oslo continued: "Thank God, today we had the opportunity to be present in Iran. We participated in the farewell ceremony for the pure body of the martyred leader and paid our respects to him."

Referring to the status of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution among the world's Muslims, he stated: "Calling for Islamic unity was among the most important characteristics of his personality. From the beginning of his responsibilities, and especially after leading the Islamic Ummah after Imam Khomeini (RA), he always called Muslims to unity and solidarity with prudence, wisdom, and scientific insight."

Rizvi noted: "Today, the effects of this thought are clearly visible in Norway and other European countries. Unity and convergence among Muslims have been strengthened more than ever, and many consider this achievement to be one of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution, the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), and the efforts of the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei."

He emphasized: "The martyred leader of the revolution always insisted on the principle that there should be no division between Shia and Sunni. His vision was not limited to Muslims, but he also felt responsibility towards all the oppressed of the world and every human being who walks the path of serving humanity."

In conclusion, the Friday Prayer Leader of Al-Tawhid Mosque in Oslo said: "We also consider ourselves as continuers of this path, and based on the teachings of the Holy Quran and the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), we consider serving humanity, strengthening Islamic unity, and defending human dignity as our duty. God willing, we will continue this path inspired by the conduct of the martyred leader of the revolution."
