Sheikh Ghazi Hanina in an interview with TNA:

The martyred leader was a standard-bearer of unity even before the Islamic Revolution

Sheikh Ghazi Hanina, head of the Board of Trustees of the Lebanese Muslim Scholars Gathering, stated that the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), was a standard-bearer of unity in the period before the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The martyred leader was a standard-bearer of unity even before the Islamic Revolution
Sheikh Ghazi Hanina, head of the Board of Trustees of the Lebanese Muslim Scholars Gathering, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), regarding the epic and million-strong farewell and funeral ceremony of the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, stated that the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), was a standard-bearer of unity in the period before the victory of the Islamic Revolution. The reason for this, he said, was his action in translating the books of Sayyid Qutb and editing and publishing them to raise awareness among the youth.

He emphasized that after assuming the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the martyred leader centered all his speeches around unity, called for unity in all his statements, and overcame all obstacles. His unity-building legacy, which called for unity, foiled the enemies' plans in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.

The head of the Board of Trustees of the Lebanese Muslim Scholars Gathering, regarding the concept of Islamic civilization and its characteristics compared to other civilizations, noted: "The concept of civilization is based on belief, culture, proper conduct, and sublime values, and a Sharia that regulates people's lives based on justice, equality, and the realization of rights."

This Lebanese scholar added: "In terms of the correct substantive meaning, there is no civilization other than Islamic civilization that brings these conditions, because Islamic civilization is a comprehensive civilization encompassing all the concepts that should exist. This view should not be based on bigotry, but on faith, because Islam is the purest and most truthful of missions, and it brings values through which human beings ascend to the highest stations."

Sheikh Hanina, regarding the relationship between Islamic civilization and the project of resistance, stated that a civilization without power and defense would be weak and subject to failure, which the arrogant would overcome. For this reason, God has specified the themes and concepts of Islamic civilization for us: "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power" (Surah Al-Anfal, 8:60). Because the enemy understands not the language of reason and logic and dialogue, but the language of power, force, confrontation, and struggle.

Sheikh Hanina, regarding how this vision materialized in the Islamic Revolution of Iran, expressed his opinion: "Imam Khomeini (RA) and after him, Ayatollah Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), laid the foundations of Islamic civilization concepts based on readiness and providing all the pillars and bases of power."

He continued: "One of the achievements of this revolution, which has a civilizational dimension, is the formation of the Axis of Resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Yemen."

Sheikh Hanina stated that it was these powers of the Resistance Axis that pushed back the arrogant, and today we see the American and Zionist enemies faltering in the face of the blows of the resistance.

This prominent Islamic activist and preacher in Lebanon, regarding the responsibilities of the Resistance Axis, said: "The fundamental responsibilities of the Resistance Axis include defending the truth, sacrifice, and selflessness to preserve legitimate rights in Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, and Iran. The world is witnessing great sacrifice and selflessness in Palestine. We believe, as Ayatollah Khamenei (may God be pleased with him) said, that Palestine is the key to change in the world."

Sheikh Hanina, in response to a question about current developments at the global level in the shadow of this civilizational project, stated: "Today we are witnessing geopolitical, intellectual, and cultural changes in America, Europe, Central Asia, the Islamic world, and Arab countries. In America alone, on a single day, 10 million people demonstrated in protest against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza – a presence without precedent – and this is evidence of the influence of the Islamic Revolution and the thought of resistance. We also witnessed that the ballot boxes in elections in many countries removed and overthrew leaders dependent on the West from the political scene."

This Lebanese Islamic thinker, regarding the manifestation of unity in Iranian society after the martyrdom of the leader of the Ummah, said: "Although the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei (may God be pleased with him) is a painful event, the unity that His Eminence created in society united all ethnicities and races in Iran around the leadership, and this is the secret of the steadfastness and resistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the most difficult stages."

In conclusion, the head of the Board of Trustees of the Lebanese Muslim Scholars Gathering noted: "The vision of establishing resistance in Islamic civilization and institutionalizing it is not merely a theory, but a plan and program based on power and unity. Experience has proven that this combination, which manifested in the thoughts of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), foils colonial projects and brings about the liberation of nations (from the grip of oppression, dictatorship, and occupation)."
