The martyred Ayatollah Khamenei was the common voice of all the nations of the Resistance Axis

Kamal Sharaf, a renowned Yemeni cartoonist and artist, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), offering condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, described him as the common spirit of the Resistance Axis, and said: "The martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was the common spirit of resistance among all the nations of the Resistance Axis. He was the voice of all of us and had a profound impact on our character and thought."

He added: "This man, from his teenage years until the final years of his life, continued his struggle with the same strength, the same motivation, and the same passion and vitality – neither showing weakness nor retreating from his path."

Kamal Sharaf continued: "He fought both with the pen and speech, and also with arms on the battlefield. He institutionalized the spirit of power, perseverance, and steadfastness against the enemy, without any weakness or hesitation, among all the resistance forces in the countries of the Resistance Axis."

This Yemeni artist, regarding the most important characteristics of the martyred leader in strengthening the unity of the Islamic Ummah, stated: "The martyr spoke in Arabic and always presented a comprehensive and inclusive vision – a vision that transcended religious and sectarian boundaries. His main concern was the dignity and honor of every Muslim, in every corner of the world."

He added: "He expressed this vision with a pure intention and sincere words, and this sincerity solidified his position in the minds and hearts of faithful and sincere people from all Islamic schools of thought – Sunnis, Shias, and other communities. Thus, he became a unifying voice for every free, sincere, and truth-seeking human being."

Kamal Sharaf, in response to the question of how the martyred leader turned confrontation with arrogance into an Islamic and human responsibility, said: "The martyr's thought in this regard was completely clear. It is enough to refer to the verses of the Holy Quran, his writings and messages that he continuously published, as well as field experiences, including the Twelve-Day War and even the events preceding the last war."

He stated: "All these factors led to the formation of a deep collective awareness and became an intellectual and inspiring reference for all of us."

This prominent Yemeni cartoonist, regarding the role of art in strengthening the unity of the Islamic Ummah, also stated: "Art is an important and strategic weapon, and especially the art of cartooning plays a very effective role in conveying the message of resistance."

He added: "Throughout the war, cartooning was able to widely convey the message of the Resistance Axis; it even bypassed the limitations and algorithms of social networks and was able to deliver the message clearly and openly to the audience."

Kamal Sharaf continued: "The art of cartooning speaks to ordinary people; it is an independent and universal language that addresses all audiences, regardless of language and culture. For this reason, its impact and presence were very strong, and it transcended linguistic and geographical boundaries."

He noted: "Our works were recognized in Iran, Yemen, Europe, and even America, and achieved remarkable success because, first, they carried an important and just cause, and second, they utilized art in a proper and effective manner."

In conclusion, this Yemeni artist emphasized: "Art is a strategic capital and weapon that the Resistance Axis can never do without – especially since our enemy possesses extensive media capacity to distort realities. Therefore, we must expand our artistic activities more than ever."

Referring to the cooperation of artists of the Resistance Front, he said: "Our cooperation and communication with Iranian artists during the war was also very important and valuable, and thank God, we can say that in this field, we have achieved success to a great extent."
