The martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei created a wave of awakening and solidarity in Iraq and the Islamic world
Halla Al-Jabiri Al-Mousawi, one of the commanders of the "Liwa al-Kawthar" special women's resistance unit of Iraq, on the sidelines of the funeral and burial ceremony of the martyred Imam, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified), spoke about the role of women in the resistance axis and the impact of this martyred religious authority on the nations of the region.

In response to the question of what position Iraqi women hold in the resistance front, she said: "A woman is the mother of a martyr, the wife of a martyr, and the daughter of a martyr. All the fighters of the resistance and the defenders of the battlefield have been raised in the laps of faithful, brave mothers who were educated in the school of Lady Zainab (SA)."

Al-Jabiri added: "The culture of 'Haihat minna al-dhilla' (Far be it from us to accept humiliation) has been institutionalized in us since childhood. Woman is the driving force and the main foundation of upbringing in the family; she shapes the family's lifestyle and even plays the primary role in issues such as boycotting the products of the Zionist regime. When a child, from the very beginning, is introduced to halal food and products that do not support the enemy, the seed of resistance is planted in them. For this reason, woman is the root and foundation of raising the generation of resistance."

The impact of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei on regional developments and thought

Regarding the impact of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei on regional developments and the thought of resistance, she said: "If we want to speak of his impact on the culture of resistance and steadfastness, we must acknowledge that no figure has been as influential on this path as he has – not only in Iraq, but throughout the world."

This Iraqi resistance activist continued: "The martyred leader always reminded us of the slogan 'Haihat minna al-dhilla,' and relying on the divine promise 'When comes the help of God and victory,' he kept the spirit of victory alive among us. He taught us to consider ourselves victorious and to have no fear of the enemy. This belief has today become part of our culture and faith."

The martyred Imam's support for oppressed nations

Al-Jabiri, referring to the martyred leader's support for oppressed nations, added: "Standing alongside the people of Gaza, Lebanon, and all the oppressed of the world was among his most important practical legacies. This is the same conduct of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the path of Imam Hussain (AS) – a divine path whose effects will never disappear."

Citing the noble verse "Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forward and their traces," she emphasized: "The effects and legacy of the martyred Imam will remain, and this path is not limited by time and place."

The feelings of Iraqi women after the martyrdom of the martyred Imam

In response to a question about the feelings of Iraqi women after the martyrdom of the martyred Imam, this commander of Iraqi women's resistance said: "I was fortunate to participate in this ceremony as one of the women present from Iraq, but many Iraqi women, with tears and great sorrow, expressed their regret at not being able to attend this ceremony through their messages and calls."

She added: "As a psychologist and university professor, I am in contact with various segments and faiths of Iraq, and what surprised me was the depth of shared grief among Shiites, Sunnis, Christians, Kurds, and Yazidis. All spoke with a shared feeling of the loss of this great leader."

Al-Jabiri noted: "The martyrdom of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei showed that the Resistance Front is on the correct path of history. Before this, some considered the defense of the Islamic Republic and warnings about the enemy as exaggerated, and the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime was also spreading in the form of a soft war. But his martyrdom awakened many dormant consciences and created a wave of awareness and insight among nations – just as the blood of the martyrs of Karbala changed the course of history."
