Mamosta Iqbal Bahmani, the representative of the people of Kurdistan in the Assembly of Experts, considered the struggle against tyranny and global arrogance in line with Islamic unity as the most important intellectual legacy of the martyred leader, and told the Taghrib News Agency (TNA): "The mission of all divine prophets was based on two fundamental axes: first, monotheism and the struggle against polytheism; and second, the struggle against the tyranny and arrogance of their time. Moses fought against Pharaoh, Abraham against Nimrod, and the Prophet of Islam against Abu Lahab and Abu Jahl. This is the same path that our great leader continued."

Referring to the pressures of tyranny in the recent century, he added: "There were those who could skillfully fight against arrogance, but either lacked the power, or if they fought, their struggles were immediately crushed in their infancy. But our martyred leader moved with a pure intention, and the first axis was that in the Islamic Republic system, the people must have their own capabilities and not be dependent on arrogance. With the slogan 'We can,' he began a conscious movement for the country's independence."

Revival of republicanism and the role of the people in Islamic civilization-building

Mamosta Bahmani emphasized: "The martyred leader moved on the axis of establishing the independence of the people. The republic, freedom, presidential elections, city councils, village councils, and the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) all show that the people's republic has a role in this civilization-building. He revived the Islamic Republic, which had been experienced since the time of the Messenger of God and the Pure Imams but had fallen into oblivion, and with an Islamic spirit and action upon the Quran, he activated the spirit of anti-oppression in the people."

Islamic unity; beyond religious borders

The representative of the people of Kurdistan in the Assembly of Experts for Leadership considered Islamic civilization as the most important intellectual legacy of the martyred leader, and said: "This thought inherently has intellectual foundations, jurisprudential foundations, and independence in political thought, and for this reason, it is capable in economics, politics, and society. He created unity and convergence among various segments of Islamic society, neither saying this government is Sunni nor saying it is Shia. We saw that Islamic civilization was formed on the basis of the Quran and the unity of the Islamic Ummah."

Islamic awakening in the world; the fruit of the martyred leader's thought

This Sunni scholar, referring to the impact of the martyred leader's thought on the Islamic world, stated: "The Islamic awakening that emerged in Islamic countries is indebted to the movement of the Supreme Leader. Today, why do we see that in Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and other countries, groups utilize the thoughts of the great leader? Because they know these thoughts are founded on the principles of Islam. This great intellectual legacy made him a defender of human rights and the rights of people in the world, and saved oppressed people from the hands of oppressors."

In conclusion, Mamosta Iqbal Bahmani considered the widespread presence of foreign figures at the funeral ceremony as a sign of the global impact of the martyred leader's thought, and said: "Many foreign figures who came for his funeral have this thought and idea in their minds – to be continuers of the path of Iran's great leader."
