President Raisi extends condolences to UAE on Zayed Al Nahyan's pass away
In a message, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi extended his condolences to the Crown Prince, the government, and the people of the United Arab Emirates on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Khalifa bin Zayed was the eldest son of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE government, and the crown prince, who ruled Abu Dhabi after the death of his father.
Ebrahim Raisi sent a message of condolences to the government and people of the United Arab Emirates on the death of "Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan".
Iran and the United Arab Emirates had significant trade and economic ties, but relations between the two countries declined after the UAE joined the Saudi-led coalition to invade Yemen. In recent years, Tehran, especially in the thirteenth Administration, has taken steps for dialogue between the two countries, and at times contacts have been established between senior officials of the two countries to warm relations.
