Cleric hails people of various viewpoints expressing loyalty to Islamic revolution

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has hailed the Iranian nation for expressing loyalty to the Islamic revolution despite hardships and diversity of views.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari made the remarks in an interview with Iranian state news agency IRNA conducted on the sideline of the February 10 demonstration in Tehran that marked the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The people in Iran have stood up for the Islamic Revolution for 46 years and in this demonstration, they once again proved their support for the 1979 revolution and the blood spilt for victory of the uprising.”
 
The cleric referred to the message behind the high turnout of the people in the nationwide rallies marking the victory anniversary of Islamic Revolution and said,” As long as the people stand up for the revolution, no domestic or foreign threat can inflict any damage to us.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari noted that the February 10 rallies reveal, in practice, the slogan of solidarity, as said by the 14th cabinet in Iran.
 
Monday marked the 46th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution that toppled the former Pahlavi regime in Iran back in 1979.
