Organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, the rally was one of the biggest pro-Palestine gatherings since Israel began genocide in Gaza in October 2023, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The rally was originally planned to be held near US embassy in Islamabad but it was moved to Zero Point, a major road juncture in the Pakistani capital.

The protesters waved Palestine and party flags chanting “Down with US” and “Down with Israel” condemning both states over more than eighteen months of deadly war on the besieged Gaza.

The chief of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami party, Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman, called on Muslim world to join each other in face of the Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

Rahman warned that Arab rulers who are silent over Israeli war crimes just to appease the US will be Tel Aviv's next target.

He condemned the Arab rulers who are silent over Israeli war crimes just to appease the US warning that the same Arab countries will be the next target for the regime in Tel Aviv.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman also denounced the Israeli regime for displacement of thousands of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank urging for an end to the ongoing occupation of the Palestinian lands.

Another Pakistani city, Karachi, was also scene of similar rally on Sunday attended by thousands, including Nahi Zahir, a representative of the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, in Pakistan.

The massive rallies were held more than two months after the Israeli regime renewed aggression against Gaza.

The regime has killed more than 51,000 people and injured over 116,000, most of them women and children, since the beginning of genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
