The cause of the blast at Shahid Rajaei Port is reported to be the explosion of a fuel tank for unknown reasons, prompting the immediate dispatch of rapid response teams.

Emergency personnel were deployed to the scene of the explosion to attend those injured.

Port activities are currently halted to allow security and rescue forces to control the situation.
