Iranian cleric hails pro-Palestine fatwas by world Muslim scholars

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, made the remarks in his speech at the webinar entitled “Mission of Nation” discussing “A Review of Islamic Nation and Jihad Fatwa for Gaza”, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” The issue of Palestine is not a concern for the Muslim world alone but also for those who do not follow Islam who protest against the ongoing genocide and say the first issue is injustice” and added,” uprising against injustice and reviving the rights of oppressed people is a key demand of the world people.”

The cleric condemned the Israeli regime over forced displacement of the Palestinians referring to the medical evacuation of some Palestinians from the besieged territory as a pretext to send Palestinians to other countries.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari warned the Islamic states and Muslims cross the globe against the dangerous Israeli project for forced evacuation of the Palestinians from their land.

According to the cleric, the second point is security, a primary right that Israeli regime has violated for millions of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Shia scholar said,” Human dignity is the third gift the Almighty God has given to all people while we see that a group of occupying killers have violated the honor of people in Gaza in the interests of some capitalists.”

He praised the scholars who rose against Israeli regime by issuing fatwas of jihad and said,” All Muslim clerics are responsible to help the Palestinians by any possible means and do not let the massacre of civilians become normalized.
