President of the University of Islamic Denominations elaborates:

Manifestation of national unity and religious power in the face of Zionist aggression

According to Taghrib News Agency, Dr. Fallahzadeh, President of the University of Islamic Denominations, referring to Imam Hussein’s (AS) nighttime migration from Medina to Mecca and his conscious decision to abandon Hajj due to security threats, considered this action a sign of the Imam’s foresight and prudence. In the face of the complex conditions of that time, he avoided initiating war but illuminated the path of resistance.

The university president emphasized that the macro policies of the Islamic Republic in confronting global powers such as the United States also follow this strategic logic. He noted: The strategies of the Islamic Republic are based on theoretical and ideological foundations that, unlike the violence-based doctrines of groups like Daesh or the racist policies of the Zionist regime, are rooted in ethics, justice, and human dignity.
He described recent regional developments as part of the historical confrontation between the discourse of resistance and the system of domination, citing examples such as the defeat of Daesh, the fall of Saddam, the victory of the resistance axis in Lebanon, and strategic advances in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
The president of the International University of Islamic Denominations described the tragic martyrdom of senior military commanders in a single night as a major test for the Islamic Republic. He stated: Despite the enemies’ expectations of a collapse in the command chain, within less than 14 hours, the system, with cohesion and strength, not only rebuilt its structure but also took the initiative—so much so that even the enemies were compelled to praise the leadership of the Supreme Leader.
He also pointed to the emergence of a functional and profound belief in leadership among various segments of society, saying: The renewed solidarity between society and the armed forces, the support of Islamic world elites for the Islamic Republic, and the diverse public participation in religious ceremonies reflect the deep-rooted nature of religious faith in Iranian society.
In another part of his speech, Dr. Fallahzadeh addressed the failure of the Zionist regime’s objectives in the recent attacks, adding: Efforts to eliminate threats from the borders of the Zionist regime, overthrow the Islamic Republic, fragment the country, and ultimately impose surrender—all failed. For the first time, the occupied territories were subjected to attacks not by a resistance group, but with the direct support of a powerful state.
He further emphasized the importance of integrating religious and national identity, stating: Placing Iranian and Islamic identities in opposition to one another is a historical mistake. Islam in Iran was not imposed by the sword, but was embraced by the people and harmonized with Iran’s rich culture—as emphasized by Martyr Motahhari in his work Mutual Services of Islam and Iran.
In conclusion, the university president summarized the recent developments, stating: Despite initial damages in the intelligence domain, the Islamic Republic emerged victorious in social and military arenas. The renewed bond between the people and the armed forces, the symbolic elevation of the leadership’s status, national cohesion, and the failure of separatist projects were among the most significant achievements of this critical period, once again showcasing the country’s strategic capacities to the world.
