Pakistani Muslim Body Warns Against Lebanese Government’s Move to Disarm Hezbollah

According to Taghrib News Agency, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, stated in an official declaration: “Hezbollah’s fighters have always been the cornerstone of Lebanon’s security and its primary defenders, serving as trustworthy guardians against external threats.”

He added: “Their heroic resistance against the Zionist regime is now being met with punishment—an act that amounts to a blatant betrayal of the homeland by the Lebanese government.”
He continued: “This dangerous move is nothing but playing into the hands of the usurping Zionist regime. Hezbollah has never posed a threat to Lebanon’s internal security; rather, it has been a protective shield for the country’s borders against occupation forces. It has consistently avoided sectarian conflict and maintained positive relations with all religious communities.”
The chairman warned that the Lebanese government is now under the influence of the enemies of Islam and, by disarming the nation’s defenders, is seeking to appease the Zionist regime.
Jafri called on Lebanese national forces and the broader Islamic world to firmly resist this conspiracy, which targets the legitimate resistance and its arms in the face of occupation.
