Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has condemned the Israeli regime for launching military offensive against the defenseless Palestinians and also preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged strip.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Islamic unity center raised alarm over less effective voice from the Islamic governments and scholarly organizations in more than 22 months of offensive by the Israeli regime, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
“After the martyrdom of more than sixty thousand and the hunger and thirst of nearly two million Gaza residents, should we just wait to see when and how willing the United Nations or Western governments, that are complicit with the Zionist regime, will be to show off by sending so-called "humanitarian" aid to the Palestinian refugees?”
It called the entire Islamic Ummah as responsible for the situation in Gaza saying,” The duty of the "leaders" and "scholars" is certainly higher than that of other segments of Muslim societies.”
If Islamic governments wish, they can put this brutal regime in its place and at least reaffirm their determination to provide safe water, food, and medicine to Gaza. Ulema also have an irreplaceable responsibility to implement Islamic and Quranic injunctions to compel their governments to do so.
