Iran, Lebanon cooperate for celebrating Islamic unity week
Iranian cultural attaché in Lebanon has met with a delegation of the Association of Muslim Scholars discussing the schedules for commemoration of the Islamic Unity Week.

Sayyed Baqer Komeilzadeh discussed the topic with Sheikh Maher Mazhar and Sheikh Hussein hailing the role of the Association of Muslim Scholars in boosting the relations between Tehran and Beirut, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iran’s cultural attaché, while praising the role of the Association of Muslim Scholars in strengthening Islamic unity and emphasized the importance of the position of scholars in confronting seditionists who are trying to deepen the divide among the Islamic nation.
During this meeting, it was agreed that a joint central program titled "Sayyed Nasrallah, Martyr of Unity and Resistance" would be held at Sayyid Nasrallah's tomb in Beirut.
It is planned that before the ceremony, a scientific meeting will be held near the martyr's shrine, in which Shiite and Sunni scholars will be present. This meeting will be accompanied by speeches and prayers for unity in front of the shrine of Martyr Nasrallah.
It was also decided that other activities will be held in different regions, in line with the Islamic Unity Week.
