Safoura Chogan, a cultural figure from Iran’s northern port city of Bandar-e Torkaman highlighted, in her speech at the webinar of the 39th Islamic Unity Conference, the key role of Islamic solidarity in view of prophet Mohammad (PBUH), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
She referred to the Prophet Mohammad as a figure who never permitted division within the community due to ethnic or racial differences.
She noted that cooperation, support, and brotherhood are repeatedly mentioned in the Prophetic traditions, stressing the importance of social responsibility. Division leads to weakness and insecurity in society.
Holding firmly to religion and Islamic principles strengthens unity and revives Islamic identity.
Chogan added that respect for diversity of viewpoints, maintaining patience and justice are key factors that contribute to unity, ultimately benefiting humanity.
“Coordination and synergy”, she said, “will lead to the realization of a united Islamic Ummah.”
