President Pezeshkian:

Islamic Countries Must Strengthen Unity in Response to Zionist Aggression

Speaking on Monday, September 15, Pezeshkian stated that the summit—hosted at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar—will address the blatant aggression carried out by Israel, which he said violates all international laws.
Islamic Countries Must Strengthen Unity in Response to Zionist Aggression
“The Zionist regime recognizes no boundaries or legal frameworks,” Pezeshkian said. “It has attacked numerous Islamic countries, including Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, and Yemen, acting with impunity. Unfortunately, the United States and European nations continue to support these actions.”
He condemned the regime’s conduct in Gaza, describing it as genocide. “Women, children, and the elderly are being condemned to death. With logistical and political backing from apartheid supporters, these crimes are being legitimized.”
Expressing hope for meaningful outcomes from the emergency summit, Pezeshkian urged Islamic countries to take unified and practical steps—especially in economic, cultural, and social spheres—to sever ties with the Zionist regime. “We must pursue legal accountability for these crimes in international forums,” he added.
He concluded by emphasizing the power of collective action: “If Muslims stand as one united front, they will not dare to violate our sovereignty or trample international law.”
