The ceremony held at Jamia Millia Islamia in the capital Delhi was organized by Iran’s cultural attaché in collaboration with the bureau of the Leader in India, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Farid Faridasr, Iran’s cultural attaché in India, in a phenomenological view on the topic of Islamic unity called that not a theoretical concept alone but a type of “virtuous lifestyle”.

He stressed,” Materialization of Islamic unity requires that it is internalized in the individual and social nature of the people, which by itself demands a disciplinary plan and purification of the self.

Iranian diplomat said,” Without a psychological understanding and practicing of unity in everyday life, the high concepts of Qur’an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) will not go beyond mottos.”

Professor Iqtidar Khan, the president of Jamia Mellia Islamia, for his part highlighted the social and political aspects of Islamic unity and the developments across the world of Islam hailing the unifying efforts of the Islamic Republic.

Also held on the occasion of Islamic unity week, Iran’s cultural center in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, held a conference on “Discipline and Victory of Prophet Mohammad in Promotion of Hadith”.

Mohammad Hassan Moazzami, deputy of Iran’s Consulate in Peshawar, referred to the ongoing issues challenging the world of Islam stressing a return to the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad and his confrontation with enemies of Islam as part of solutions against predicaments in Muslim world, among them the “Zionist Israeli criminals”.
