Muslim Brotherhood Condemns Israeli Seizure of Gaza Aid Flotilla as Piracy and Terrorism

In a post on its official account on platform X, the Brotherhood declared: “We condemn the actions of the Israeli occupation forces in seizing vessels of the resistance flotilla en route to Gaza. This is yet another attempt to intensify the unjust blockade imposed on over two million people suffering under bombardment, starvation, and deprivation of basic necessities.”

The statement emphasized that these peaceful convoys—considered among the largest international humanitarian demonstrations—have sent a clear message to the world: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and continues its policy of piracy and organized terrorism against any initiative aimed at breaking the siege.
The Brotherhood stressed that the “Sumud Flotilla” represents a real test for all those who claim to support peace. It called on the international community to confront Israeli arrogance and take immediate action to protect the activists, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and lift the blockade entirely and without delay.
According to flotilla organizers, the Israeli navy seized the final remaining vessel of the aid convoy on Friday morning, bringing the total number of intercepted ships to 42.
The “Global Flotilla for Resilience,” which set sail in early September, carried over 500 activists from 40 countries, aiming to deliver humanitarian assistance to Gaza amid an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
