Speaking to Taghrib News(TNA), Sheikh Khajavi highlighted the importance of strategic planning at the international level to strengthen Islamic unity. “Unity and proximity are no longer unfamiliar ideas—they have become a vital cultural reality in the minds of Muslim nations,” he said. Shared Foundations for Lasting Unity
He pointed to commonalities such as belief in one God, the Holy Qur’an, and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the basis for sustained solidarity among Muslims. “By holding fast to these shared foundations, Muslims can achieve enduring cohesion,” he noted.
Sheikh Khajavi praised the scholars and intellectuals whose efforts have shaped this unifying approach, saying their contributions are commendable and have laid the groundwork for many international programs focused on unity. The Role of Scripture and Leadership
He stressed that the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) are the core sources of guidance. “Following divine commandments and taking inspiration from the Prophet’s noble family and great Islamic leaders—such as Imam Khomeini and the current leadership—have helped the tree of unity bear fruit,” he said. A Vision for Continued Solidarity
In conclusion, Sheikh Khajavi expressed hope that, with divine support and the efforts of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and Islamic media, the path of unity and brotherhood will continue to flourish. “Through peaceful dialogue and the involvement of respected leaders, we can resolve differences and strengthen the bonds of the Ummah,” he affirmed.
