Mission of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Is Universal

He described the Prophetic legacy as a model for justice-seeking and ethical conduct in social relations.
Mission of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Is Universal
Citing the Qur’anic verse “And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds,” Amjadi affirmed that the Prophet was sent not only to Muslims but to all humanity. “This universal mission demands peaceful coexistence among people regardless of religion, sect, ethnicity, or nationality,” he said.
Amjadi recalled the Prophet’s actions after migrating to Medina, noting that his first initiative was building the Prophet’s Mosque. He then united the two warring tribes of Aws and Khazraj through wisdom and ethics, and brought the Muhajirun and Ansar together. “He always reminded them that their Lord, Prophet, Book, and Qibla are one—so they must be united,” Amjadi said.
He referenced the Prophet’s participation in the Hilf al-Fudul pact at age twenty, which was formed to defend the rights of the oppressed. “Even before his prophethood, the Prophet stood for justice,” Amjadi noted. “He later said he would still honor such a pact today—even if proposed by non-Muslims.”
Amjadi highlighted the Prophet’s compassionate behavior toward non-Muslims. “Authentic sources mention that the Prophet visited his Jewish neighbor when he was ill, and even showed kindness toward a woman who insulted him daily—attending her funeral after her death,” he said. “These actions reflect the depth of the Prophet’s ethical and humanitarian character.”
In conclusion, Amjadi urged Muslims to follow the Prophet’s example, avoid division, and walk the path of unity, coexistence, and justice. “The Prophet was a messenger of unity, ethics, and human dignity—and we must continue on that path,” he affirmed.
