High turnout of Iraqis in parliamentary elections repelled hostile plots
The head of Iran’s Organization of Culture and Islamic Communication has hailed the high turnout of the Iraqi voters in the parliamentary elections stressing that the participation of the people foiled plots by regional enemies.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Mahdi Imanipour made the remarks in a post on his social media X following the final results of the parliamentary elections in Iraq were released, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He wrote,” The responsible, active and knowledge-based participation of the Iraqi nation in the recent general elections, regardless of its role in deciding the diplomatic and executive equations of the country, repelled the plans for disintegration of Iraq by the US and Israeli think tanks.”
The Iranian cleric added,” Iraqi nation created a great epic amid one of the most critical eras in the region.”
The Independent High Electoral Commission in Iraq has confirmed a 56.11 voter turnout in the poll that marked the sixth election held in Iraq since a United States-led invasion of the Arab country in 2003.
