Condemning U.S.-Israeli attack against Islamic Republic of Iran

Them message by Syed Sheikh Al Attas, the president of SEJAGAT Malaysia or Malaysian Universal People's Welfare Organization was issued following multiple attacks by American and Israeli warplanes targeting the different cities in Iran killing and injuring hundreds of people.

The full text of the statement by SEJAGAT (Malaysian Universal People's Welfare Organization) is as follows:

"Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to grant them victory." (Surat Al Hajj)

We, the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rakyat Sejagat Malaysia (SEJAGAT), hereby strongly condemn the military actions launched by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran today, 28 February 2026. The attack, which involved coordinated airstrikes and military operations targeting various regions in Iran, constitutes a clear violation of the fundamental principles of international law and the sovereignty of an independent nation.

1. *Blatant Violation of Sovereignty & International Law*
This military action has targeted defense infrastructure as well as civilian areas in Iran and took place while diplomatic negotiations were ongoing, demonstrating a lack of commitment to a peaceful resolution of conflict. The attack clearly violates the Charter of the United Nations (UN) and the principle of non-aggression between states.

2. *Threat to Regional & Global Stability*
The attack on Iran not only exacerbates tensions in West Asia but also poses serious risks to global stability. Such actions risk triggering a wider escalation of conflict, increasing civilian suffering, and undermining regional and international security and economic stability.

3. *Call to the International Community*
We call upon all parties, including the UN Security Council, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and nations around the world, to:
Officially and promptly condemn this attack.
Urge the immediate cessation of all hostilities and acts of aggression by Israel and the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Intensify diplomatic pressure on all parties to return to the negotiating table.

4. *Support for Diplomacy & Peaceful Resolution*
We firmly affirm that diplomacy, not violence, is the rightful path to resolving differences between nations. A dignified and lasting resolution can only be achieved through dialogue, respect for international law, and cooperation among states.

5. *Solidarity with the People of Iran*
We express our full solidarity with the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran who are facing military threats and the consequences of this conflict. Their right to live in peace, security, and territorial integrity must be fully respected.
The military attacks carried out by the United States and Israel not only endanger regional stability but also challenge the foundational principles of international relations. We reiterate that the world does not need another war and must continue striving for global peace.
