Death toll from Israeli aggression on Lebanon tops 2,600

Israeli regime forces have conducted fresh strikes across southern Lebanon killing and injuring several people in further violation of the ceasefire declared in May.
At least ten people have lost their lives during Saturday attacks by the regime forces, Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed.

Local Lebanese media reported that Israeli warplanes struck the towns of Harouf and Choukine, as well as the heights of Iqlim al-Tuffah, amid intensified aerial activity over the region.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health has revised the casualty figures from an Israeli attack on the town of Haboush in the Nabatieh district, confirming that eight people were killed, including one child and two women, and 21 others wounded, among them two children and a woman.

The strikes coincide with ongoing Israeli military assaults along Lebanon’s southern border, including repeated incursions, demolitions in border villages, and a continued military presence inside Lebanese territory.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said the latest wave of attacks increased the total recorded since Friday to more than 41. The overall death toll since March 2 is 2,659, with 8,183 injured.
