Ghadir is the day of Muslims' allegiance to Prophet, unity of Islamic Ummah under one flag
A member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership stated: "God willing, the Islamic Ummah, by holding fast to the Rope of Allah (Habl Allah), moving on the path of allegiance to Imam Ali (AS), and avoiding poor judgment, deviations, and issues that harm the unity and solidarity of Muslims, will honor Ghadir as a great day in Islam and act upon its goals."

Ayatollah Heidari Ale Kathiri, a member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership, spoke to the Taghrib News Agency. Congratulating the arrival of the Days of God of Ghadir and the official announcement of this great event by the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), he stated: "The event of Ghadir and the issue of guardianship (Wilayah) can be discussed in two ways: constructive and destructive. The constructive way means discussing it in a calm environment with rational and transmitted arguments, essentially without excommunicating others and avoiding disrespect."
Ayatollah Ale Kathiri stated: "In fact, dialogue can remove many misunderstandings resulting from lack of mutual awareness and provide the groundwork for rapprochement among Islamic schools of thought. The destructive way, however, means gatherings and environments that are destructive accompanied by disrespect, which are far from rational behavior."
This Shia scholar said: "Therefore, such destructive behaviors stand against unity and play a harmful role. Hence, the name of the Commander of the Faithful (AS) is intertwined with Wilayah. The Holy Quran says: 'And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.' (Quran 3:103) This hadith requires an axis, and from the Quran's perspective, that axis is the 'Rope of Allah.'"
He said: "Certainly, the 'Rope of Allah' has manifestations (God Almighty, the Kaaba, the Prophet, and the Commander of the Faithful), and a manifestation of the Rope of Allah is the Commander of the Faithful (AS). Therefore, the Islamic Ummah must hold fast to the 'Rope of Allah,' because on the day of Ghadir, this issue was officially announced, and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) took allegiance from all the believers and said: 'Greet Ali with the title of Commander of the Faithful (Amir al-Mu'minin).' That great multitude stayed for three days and gave their allegiance."
In conclusion, he emphasized: "God willing, the Islamic Ummah, by holding fast to the Rope of Allah, moving on the path of allegiance to Imam Ali (AS), and avoiding poor judgment, deviations, and issues that harm the unity and solidarity of Muslims, will honor Ghadir as a great day in Islam and act upon its goals."
