Velayati: Lasting peace grows from within the balance of power, not from the mirage of unsupported commitments

The Supreme Leader's Advisor for International Affairs wrote: "The new architecture of the balance of power will not be formed on the basis of weakening heroic resistance. Diplomatic naivety carries a heavy cost, and lasting peace grows from within the balance of power, not from the mirage of unsupported commitments."
Velayati: Lasting peace grows from within the balance of power, not from the mirage of unsupported commitments
Ali Akbar Velayati, the Supreme Leader's Advisor for International Affairs, posted a message on the X platform, writing: "The long-standing nightmare and historical fear of Western theorists of Iran gaining power has turned into reality, and a new geometry has been formed. Western media (Reuters and The Guardian) admitting Trump's need for a temporary agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz indicates the failure of the doctrine of threatening Iran and the victory of the authority of the resistance."

He noted: "But the greater strategic error is committed by those in the region who have taken comfort in the mirage of compromise. The new architecture of the balance of power will not be formed on the basis of weakening heroic resistance. Diplomatic naivety carries a heavy cost, and lasting peace grows from within the balance of power, not from the mirage of unsupported commitments."
