Yemen warns against continuation of Israeli strikes on Lebanon
Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister has warned Israel over its continued attacks against Lebanon, the latest of which was the targeting of a Lebanese Army military vehicle in the Nabatieh and residential buildings in southern Lebanon.

Abdulwahid Abu Ras, addressing Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, Abu Ras asked: "Are you at all concerned about the targeting of the Lebanese Army? Is this your war? Are you concerned about a conflict in which the Lebanese Army itself is being attacked?"
The latest Israeli strikes resulted in the deaths of a senior officer and one Lebanese soldier as well as several civilians.
He added: "Has the time not come for those in Baabda Palace to support their army, their resistance, and their people in confronting their real enemy—the criminal Zionist regime?"
The Yemeni official described the incident as further evidence that Israel targets all segments of the Lebanese nation, arguing that concessions only encourage more aggression and oppression.
Stressing that the path of surrender under the guise of direct negotiations would not bring support, sovereignty, security, or stability, he said that Lebanon could not achieve stability as long as the enemy's attacks and occupation continued.
The Yemeni deputy foreign minister concluded by reaffirming Yemen's support for the Lebanese people and their "courageous resistance" in the face of what he described as Israel's ongoing aggression against Lebanon and its people.
Meanwhile, Tehran described the attack as a heinous act against Lebanon, its armed forces, and its sovereignty, calling it a clear message of aggression.
In a statement, the Lebanese Army said that Israel's "brutal, deliberate, and repeated" attacks against Lebanon, its people, and its military would only strengthen their determination to confront such acts of aggression.
It added that these attacks are aimed at undermining efforts to secure a comprehensive ceasefire and Israel's withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territory.
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, in a phone call with Army Commander Rodolphe Haykal, offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the attack. Berri said the incident was neither a mistake nor a misunderstanding, contrary to what he described as the enemy's attempts to justify it.
The reactions come after deadly Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon claimed lives of 14 people, most of them civilians, leaving more than 30 others injured.
