The Zionist regimes treatment of Palestinian prisoners is a clear violation of all international laws

According to the Taghrib News Agency, the movement stated in a press release: "In the prisons of the Zionist regime, one of the most heinous organized crimes against Palestinian prisoners continues—crimes that indicate the extent of targeted and systematic violations against the prisoners' bodies, dignity, and humanity, without any legal or moral deterrent."

The Palestine Information Center, quoting the Islamic Jihad statement, added: "The continuous confinement and restriction of prisoners, abusive treatment, deliberate humiliation during transfers, the dangerously deteriorating physical condition of prisoners, the resurgence of scabies, and signs of severe emaciation and weakness show that the administration of the Zionist regime's prisons continues its policy of collective punishment and organized retaliation."

According to the movement, the goal of these policies is to break the prisoners' will and exhaust them physically and psychologically.

Islamic Jihad emphasized that these crimes hold the Zionist regime fully and directly responsible for the lives and health of the prisoners and for all the harm and suffering inflicted upon them in detention centers.

The movement held international and Arab legal institutions responsible and called on them to take action to end these ongoing crimes, prosecute the perpetrators, and bring those responsible to trial.

In conclusion, Islamic Jihad stressed: "The prisoners, despite the chains, prisons, and policies of torture and harassment, will remain symbols of dignity, resilience, and resistance, and their suffering will remain living testimony to the barbarism of the occupying regime and a stain of shame on the conscience of all those who have remained silent in the face of the crimes committed against prisoners behind bars."
