IRGC vows ‘Divine Revenge’ against U.S. and Israel not far off
TEHRAN, July 4 — The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy said "divine revenge" against the United States and Israel is "not far off," pledging that the elite forces will continue the path of the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Rear Admiral Ali Azmaei, in the statement, stressed that the members of the IRGC Navy and personnel responsible for safeguarding the strategic Strait of Hormuz remain committed to continuing the path and ideals of those who have been killed, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“I, along with all the courageous fighters of the IRGC Navy and the guardians of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, pledge before God to continue the path of the martyrs with strength and perseverance,” he said. “We firmly believe that divine revenge against terrorist America and the illegitimate Zionist regime is not far away.”
The commander described the deceased figure as a devoted servant of God who dedicated his life to defending the Islamic nation and advancing the ideals of Islam. He said the individual had stood firmly against what he called the “front of arrogance and unbelief” and had earned a place among the country’s most influential historical figures.
Azmaei also condemned those responsible for the killing, describing them as enemies who feared the martyr’s influence, determination and ideological convictions. He argued that the act would not hinder the cause for which the individual had fought, but would instead strengthen it.
“Today, we do not bid farewell,” Azmaei said. “Rather, we renew our pledge to his ideals, his steadfastness, his faith, and the path he charted.”
The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions involving Iran, the United States and Israel, with Iranian officials repeatedly vowing that attacks against Iranian leaders and members of allied groups will not go unanswered.

IRGC Navy issued the statement on the first day of the farewell ceremonies held for the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Millions of mourners from across Iran and the world countries have converged in the Iranian capital Tehran to pay final tribute to the martyred Leader pledging allegiance to support his successor, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
