Martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei Ushers in a New Era of Dignity for Ummah
Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla, the head of the Sunni Clerical Association in Iraq, has hailed the martyrdom of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, as a transformative milestone that has opened a new chapter of honor and dignity for the Islamic Ummah.

In a poignant statement shared via his official social media channels, Sheikh al-Mulla reflected on his participation in the grand welcoming ceremonies for the martyred Leader’s remains.
He described the atmosphere of the procession as one of profound complexity, characterized by “hearts filled with grief, yet brimming with pride and honor.”
“The massive crowds of mourners expressed their deep sorrow and sincere devotion through their tears,” Sheikh al-Mulla stated. “They paid tribute to an Imam who dedicated his entire life to the defense of truth and to the systematic dismantling of the prestige and honor of the Zionist regime and its criminal collaborators.”
The prominent Sunni scholar further emphasized that the late Leader’s impact transcends his earthly tenure. He noted that through his martyrdom, Ayatollah Khamenei has solidified the legacy of struggle and steadfastness that he spent his life building.
“With his martyrdom, the martyred Imam has written a new chapter in the history of Islamic dignity—a chapter defined by the same spirit of jihad and unwavering resilience that he meticulously charted throughout his leadership,” Sheikh al-Mulla concluded.
