Official Iraqi sources reported the participation of 3 million people in the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Ummah in Najaf.

Major General "Saad Maan," the official spokesman of the Supreme Committee for the Funeral Ceremony of the Martyred Leader of the Ummah, announced that approximately three million people participated in the funeral ceremony of the martyred Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
 
He added: "Based on information, field monitoring, media reports, and estimates, the number of participants in the funeral ceremony in Najaf Ashraf reached approximately three million. This crowd began from the Al-Sadrain intersection and extended to the courtyard of Lady Fatima (SA), inside the holy shrine, side streets, other gathering places, and finally to 'Khan al-Nus' (Al-Haidariya district)."
 
The Supreme Committee for the Funeral Ceremony of the Martyred Leader had previously announced: "Preliminary unofficial statistics indicate the participation of over 10 million in the funeral ceremony of the leader of the Ummah."
 
Earlier, the acting head of Iran's Consulate General in Karbala had also announced that 6 million people had participated solely in the funeral of the martyred leader in Karbala.
