Pres. Pezeshkian expresses gratitude for the presence of leaders at the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader

Masoud Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the presence at the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the revolution and the expressions of sympathy with the Iranian nation.

In his message to Mr. Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Masoud Pezeshkian, while thanking him and the high-ranking Pakistani delegation for their presence at the funeral ceremony, emphasized that the solidarity and support of the Pakistani government and people will never be forgotten by the Iranian nation.

Referring to the fact that the Iranian and Pakistani nations have always shared each other's joys and sorrows, the President expressed hope that bilateral relations, based on deep fraternal ties, would expand further, and added that the martyred Supreme Leader was always fond of the Pakistani government and noble people, and considered cultural commonalities as a valuable asset of the two nations.

Pezeshkian also, in a message to Mr. Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan, thanked him for his presence at the farewell ceremony for the martyred Supreme Leader and his sincere expression of sympathy with the Iranian nation, considering this act as enduring in the historical memory of bilateral relations.

Referring to the martyred Supreme Leader's emphasis on the special place of Persian-speaking countries and neighbors in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President described the historical, cultural, linguistic, and religious commonalities between Iran and Tajikistan as a valuable asset for further deepening fraternal relations between the two countries.

In his message to Mr. Mikheil Kavelashvili, President of Georgia, Pezeshkian also thanked him for his presence and the expression of sympathy by the Georgian people and government, and described this solidarity as enduring in the historical memory of the three-thousand-year-old relations between the two nations.

The President expressed hope that relations between Tehran and Tbilisi would further develop in light of mutual respect, constructive cooperation, and a complementary regional economic model, and recalled that the martyred Supreme Leader always emphasized the strengthening of relations with neighbors.

In another message addressed to Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, Pezeshkian sincerely thanked him and his accompanying high-ranking delegation for their presence, as well as the expression of sympathy by the Armenian people and government with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not forget this goodwill.

Referring to the historical and friendly relations between the two nations, the President expressed hope that Iran-Armenia relations, which have always been based on mutual interests, good neighborliness, and mutual respect, would further develop, and noted that the martyred Supreme Leader always emphasized the strengthening of relations with the Republic of Armenia.

Pezeshkian also, in a message to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, National Leader of Turkmenistan, thanked him for his presence and sincere expression of sympathy with the Iranian nation, and emphasized that the Iranian nation will not forget this solidarity.

President Pezeshkian, recalling the martyred Supreme Leader's emphasis that "Iran-Turkmenistan relations are beyond neighborliness; they are kinship ties," emphasized the continuation of developing friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries.
