The World Muslim Women's Union appreciates the epic presence of the Iraqi nation in the funeral of the Martyred Leader

The World Muslim Women's Union, issuing a statement, appreciated the widespread and epic presence of the Iraqi nation in the funeral ceremonies and commemorations of the "Martyred Leader" Grand Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, and described this presence as a symbol of the unbreakable bond between the two nations of Iran and Iraq and a manifestation of the unity of the Islamic Ummah on the path of resistance.
The text of the statement is as follows:
 
"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
 
'Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God. Among them are those who have fulfilled their vow, and among them are those who await [its fulfillment], and they have not changed [their commitment] in the least.' (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:23)
 
O noble, brotherly, and revolutionary nation of Iraq! In the days when the heart of the Islamic Ummah and the free people of the world beat with agonizing grief over the martyrdom of the brilliant sun of resistance, the 'Sayyid al-Shuhada of the Islamic Revolution,' your epic, sympathetic, and passionate presence – you noble and loyal people of Iraq – in the funeral ceremonies and commemorations of this great martyr displayed an unparalleled manifestation of the unbreakable bond between the two nations of Iran and Iraq.
 
This conscious and sincere presence once again proved that the pure blood of the martyrs of Islam, transcending geographical borders, has tied together the faithful and free nations around the lofty ideals of resistance. We will never forget this gracious hospitality and magnificent solidarity of our Iraqi brothers and sisters, which was carried out despite the deep ideological and historical bonds.
 
Hereby, the World Muslim Women's Union expresses its deep gratitude and appreciation to all the faithful people, proud tribes, distinguished scholars, and resistance groups of the friendly and neighboring country of Iraq, who with their presence in this epic, shook the bodies of the arrogant and consoled the grieving heart of the leadership and the Islamic Ummah.
 
We ask Almighty God for dignity, security, prosperity, and ever-increasing victories for the government and nation of Iraq on the proud path of resistance and the attainment of the new Islamic civilization."
