40th International Islamic Unity Conference announces call for papers

The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has announced a call for papers for the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference, inviting scholars and researchers from around the world to submit academic contributions on the theme "Islamic Unity in the Thought of the Martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei."

The conference is scheduled to take place from August 26-30 and will bring together academics, religious scholars, and intellectuals to discuss various dimensions of Islamic unity through the teachings and legacy of the martyred Iranian leader, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
According to the organizers, the conference will focus on a range of topics, including the concept of Islamic unity, the identity of the Islamic Ummah, and the foundations of a new Islamic civilization in the thought of the martyred Leader.
 
Conference Themes include:
*The Concept of Unity, the Islamic Ummah, and the New Islamic Civilization in the teachings of the Martyred Leader.

*The Role of Shared Islamic Principles in shaping the identity of the unified Islamic Ummah from the perspective of the Martyred Leader.

*The Identity of the Islamic Ummah and the Challenges of Muslim Unity in the Contemporary Era in the thought of the Martyred Leader.

*The Role of Muslim Scholars and Religious Institutions in preserving the identity and unity of the Islamic Ummah in the thought of the Martyred Leader.

*The Role of Islamic Unity in strengthening the Resistance Economy and promoting economic cooperation in the thought of the Martyred Leader.

* The Teachings of the Martyred Leader on safeguarding peace, security, strength, and dignity for the Islamic Ummah.

*Politics and Governance in the Islamic Ummah: The teachings of the Martyred Leader and the discourse of Islamic unity.

*War and Peace in the Prophetic Tradition: The balance between defense and reconciliation, and the issues of Palestine and Lebanon in the thought of the Martyred Leader.


Papers submitted to the conference must be between 8 and 20 pages, based on approximately 300 words per page, and may be written in Persian, Arabic, or English. The deadline for abstract submissions is August 6, while full papers must be submitted by August 23.

According to the organizers, all presenters whose papers are accepted will receive certificates of presentation, while outstanding papers will be recognized with awards.
