Mufti Ravil Gainutdin, the head of the Muslim Religious Administration of Russia, emphasized in a letter to the President of the Organization for Islamic Culture and Communications that, in recent days, witnessing the tragic events in Iran, we continuously pray to the Almighty for peace, agreement, unity, sustainable development, and prosperity for our brotherly nation.
We Seek Peace and Unity Under Sustainable Development in Iran
Mufti Gainutdin expressed his profound respect for Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Mahdi Eimani Pour, President of the Organization for Islamic Culture and Communications, and the Head of the Council for Policy-Making and Coordination of Interfaith Dialogue of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in mentioning the specifics of the recent events in Iran.

He stated: "On behalf of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and personally, I express my deep respect for you and convey my profound and sincere feelings of brotherhood and solidarity toward the people of the brotherly nation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In recent days, as we observe the bitter events in Iran, we pray to the Almighty for the descent of peace, agreement, and unity, as well as for sustainable development and prosperity for our brother nation. The loss of life and the brutal attacks on sacred places and places of worship in Iran have profoundly affected our hearts.

Attacks on beliefs and the destruction of places of worship, similar to the aggression against governmental properties and the assets of honorable citizens, are grave sins before the Almighty and violate the laws of human coexistence. Therefore, we understand the actions taken by officials to protect state sovereignty, the dignity, rights, and properties of citizens against rioters incited from abroad.

In the present circumstances, it is the duty of any legitimate government to support peace, calm, and security for its citizens against rogues and rebels.

I am confident that ancient Iran, endowed with a thousand-year tradition of governance, possesses the capacity to achieve internal agreement and civic unity based on domestic strengths. However, the unlawful intervention of other countries in Iran's sovereign affairs will lead the people towards chaos and sorrow.

I constantly pray to the Almighty to soften hearts and unite all our Iranian brethren around love for their homeland and loyalty to their motherland. May God protect Iran from lawlessness, human casualties, the destruction of government centers and places of worship, and the weakening of the enduring religious foundations of Iranian society. Amen.

It is noteworthy that Hojjatoleslam Imani Pour recently sent a letter to 27 prominent muftis and figures in Muslim countries, seeking their support for further clarification regarding the true nature of the recent events in Iran for followers of all religions and people worldwide.
