Violating the mourning rituals of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) is a violation of the principles of the Shia faith

Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qasim, a prominent Bahraini religious authority, in a message posted on the social network "X" (formerly Twitter), emphasized the importance of preserving the rituals of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and described it as an act of worship on the path of remembering God.

He wrote: "Keeping alive the memory and name of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet (PBUH) on the path of remembering God is a divine act of worship, and the believers and their followers will never abandon this duty as long as they live."

This Shia authority added: "This revival, with all its manifestations – including pulpits, mourning processions, vows, tears over the tragedies of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), enduring slogans in their commemoration, and the dissemination of the divine knowledge and sciences of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), which are a source of guidance, steadfastness, and human felicity – is among the fixed and unchangeable principles of the Shia faith."

Ayatollah Isa Qasim further emphasized: "Any violation of these rituals is a violation of the principle of the Shia faith. Therefore, Shiites will never remain silent in the face of such an action and consider it their duty to resist it."

The martyred Ayatollah Khamenei was the common voice of all the nations of the Resistance Axis

Kamal Sharaf, a renowned Yemeni cartoonist and artist, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), offering condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, described him as the common spirit of the Resistance Axis, and said: "The martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was the common spirit of resistance among all the nations of the Resistance Axis. He was the voice of all of us and had a profound impact on our character and thought."

He added: "This man, from his teenage years until the final years of his life, continued his struggle with the same strength, the same motivation, and the same passion and vitality – neither showing weakness nor retreating from his path."

Kamal Sharaf continued: "He fought both with the pen and speech, and also with arms on the battlefield. He institutionalized the spirit of power, perseverance, and steadfastness against the enemy, without any weakness or hesitation, among all the resistance forces in the countries of the Resistance Axis."

This Yemeni artist, regarding the most important characteristics of the martyred leader in strengthening the unity of the Islamic Ummah, stated: "The martyr spoke in Arabic and always presented a comprehensive and inclusive vision – a vision that transcended religious and sectarian boundaries. His main concern was the dignity and honor of every Muslim, in every corner of the world."

He added: "He expressed this vision with a pure intention and sincere words, and this sincerity solidified his position in the minds and hearts of faithful and sincere people from all Islamic schools of thought – Sunnis, Shias, and other communities. Thus, he became a unifying voice for every free, sincere, and truth-seeking human being."

Kamal Sharaf, in response to the question of how the martyred leader turned confrontation with arrogance into an Islamic and human responsibility, said: "The martyr's thought in this regard was completely clear. It is enough to refer to the verses of the Holy Quran, his writings and messages that he continuously published, as well as field experiences, including the Twelve-Day War and even the events preceding the last war."

He stated: "All these factors led to the formation of a deep collective awareness and became an intellectual and inspiring reference for all of us."

This prominent Yemeni cartoonist, regarding the role of art in strengthening the unity of the Islamic Ummah, also stated: "Art is an important and strategic weapon, and especially the art of cartooning plays a very effective role in conveying the message of resistance."

He added: "Throughout the war, cartooning was able to widely convey the message of the Resistance Axis; it even bypassed the limitations and algorithms of social networks and was able to deliver the message clearly and openly to the audience."

Kamal Sharaf continued: "The art of cartooning speaks to ordinary people; it is an independent and universal language that addresses all audiences, regardless of language and culture. For this reason, its impact and presence were very strong, and it transcended linguistic and geographical boundaries."

He noted: "Our works were recognized in Iran, Yemen, Europe, and even America, and achieved remarkable success because, first, they carried an important and just cause, and second, they utilized art in a proper and effective manner."

In conclusion, this Yemeni artist emphasized: "Art is a strategic capital and weapon that the Resistance Axis can never do without – especially since our enemy possesses extensive media capacity to distort realities. Therefore, we must expand our artistic activities more than ever."

Referring to the cooperation of artists of the Resistance Front, he said: "Our cooperation and communication with Iranian artists during the war was also very important and valuable, and thank God, we can say that in this field, we have achieved success to a great extent."

The magnificent and historic funeral of the martyred leader was a unique manifestation of the people's love for Wilayah and the revolution

Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Mehdi Qureshi, today at the commemoration ceremony for the "Icon of Unity in the Islamic World," held on the seventh day of the burial of the martyred leader of the revolution with the presence of Shia and Sunni scholars and clergy in Urmia's Vahdat Hall, stated: "Undoubtedly, divine personalities and those who dedicate their entire being purely for God are freed from the constraints of time and space and become eternal in history. Therefore, explaining the dimensions of such personalities is not an easy task."

He added: "Explaining the personality of the martyred Imam Khamenei, like the reality of the personality of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Ahl al-Bayt of Infallibility and Purity (AS), and the divine saints, is not fully describable."

The representative of the Supreme Leader in West Azerbaijan and Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia, referring to the fact that those who move with sincerity on the path of God become eternal through that same sincerity, said: "Prophet Ibrahim (AS), through submission to the divine command, made his name eternal in history, and the uprising of Imam Hussain (AS), due to sincerity and sacrifice, remains alive and inspiring to nations after centuries."

He stated: "Throughout history, the enemies have always imagined that through the martyrdom of the divine saints, they could erase their names and paths, but divine tradition has proven otherwise. Just as the Ashura movement is celebrated more passionately each year, the martyrdom of the leader of the revolution has also made his thoughts and ideals more eternal than ever."

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Qureshi, referring to the widespread presence of the people at the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader, stated: "The magnificent and historic funeral of the martyred leader was a unique manifestation of the people's love for Wilayah and the revolution – a presence that the enemies never imagined, and showed that the blood of the martyr is a factor of greater cohesion, solidarity, and strength for the Iranian nation."

The representative of the Supreme Leader in West Azerbaijan and Friday Prayer Leader of Urmia added: "Those who imagined that through the martyrdom of the leader of the revolution they could cause division and discord among the Iranian nation made a great miscalculation, because this event made the Iranian nation more united, cohesive, and resilient than ever."

Stating that today the line between truth and falsehood is clearer than ever, he noted: "The crimes committed against the Iranian nation and the leaders of the resistance front have further revealed the truth of the global arrogance's enmity with Islam, and have left no room for doubt in recognizing the front of truth and falsehood."

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Qureshi continued: "Today, the scholars of the Islamic world have a duty to take a clear stance against the crimes of arrogance and the Zionist regime, and to defend the oppressed nations, because today is not a time for silence, and any indifference will pave the way for greater insolence by the enemies."

Emphasizing that the unity of the Islamic Ummah is the most important strategy for confronting the enemies, he stated: "The enemies of Islam have always tried to create division among Muslims, but today it is the duty of scholars, elites, and all people to preserve unity, strengthen solidarity, and defend the ideals of Islam and the revolution."

The greatest legacy of the martyred leader of the revolution is the culture of martyrdom and the unity of the Islamic Ummah

Khaled Abdul-Qarouti, a professor of jurisprudence and Islamic thought at Sana'a University, on the sidelines of the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, offering condolences to the Islamic Ummah on this tragedy, stated: "Our presence in Tehran is an opportunity to offer our condolences on this great tragedy to the Ummah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and to all mujahideen on the path of truth. Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of this great leader is a tremendous grief for the Islamic world."

He added: "One of the most important recommendations of the martyred leader of the revolution was always the unity of the Islamic Ummah and holding fast to the rope of God – the very truth that God has emphasized in the Holy Quran, saying: 'And hold fast to the rope of God all together and do not become divided.' He believed that the dignity, victory, and authority of the Islamic Ummah can only be achieved through a return to the Quran and acting upon its teachings."

The professor at Sana'a University, referring to the intellectual challenges facing the Islamic world, stated: "The martyred leader of the revolution fell victim to the division and fragmentation of the Islamic Ummah. Today, the enemies of Islam, by infiltrating cultural and scientific arenas and creating religious differences, try to divert Muslims from the main issues of the Islamic world and engage them in internal conflicts."

He continued: "The enemies, by fueling takfir and religious differences, prevent the Islamic Ummah from confronting arrogance and occupation. Meanwhile, the martyred leader always emphasized a return to the authentic sources of Islam – the Holy Quran and the conduct of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) – and considered these two as the axis of Muslim unity."

Abdul-Qarouti identified the "culture of martyrdom" as the most important legacy of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, and said: "The West, America, and the Zionist regime try to take this culture away from the Islamic Ummah and instead promote the culture of submission, compromise, and acceptance of occupation – a culture in which Muslims remain silent in the face of the occupation of Islamic lands, the desecration of sanctities, and even insults to the Quran."

He emphasized: "The martyred leader of the revolution always reminded that the battle between truth and falsehood, good and evil, and justice and oppression continues, and the Islamic Ummah must defend its dignity and honor with the spirit of sacrifice and martyrdom. As Imam Hussain (AS) said, life accompanied by humiliation before oppressors has no value."

In conclusion, the professor of jurisprudence and Islamic thought at Sana'a University noted: "The greatest message of this great martyr for the young Muslim generation was the breaking of the boundaries of sectarian division. Through his martyrdom on the path of defending Al-Quds and Palestine, he showed that the field of supporting the Palestinian cause belongs to all Muslims. In this path, being Shia or Sunni is not the criterion; what matters is adherence to Islam, steadfastness against oppression, and defense of the Islamic Ummah."

The Storm of Awakening in the Heart of the Islamic World; The Manifestation of the Hussaini Ummah and the Dawn of the New Civilization

And the source of this cry this time became a time and place where the fearless captain of the revolution soared from the realm of the earth to the heavens of the soul. What manifested in Iran and Iraq is not the narrative of an ordinary funeral; this is the "spiritual journey" of an Ummah that, in four epic, mystical, and poetic acts, from the heart of Tehran, Qom, Najaf, Karbala, to the sanctuary of Razavi, seeks a tulip whose roots lie in Karbala.

Tuesday, July 6. Tehran was no longer an earthly metropolis; rather, in the words of the boundless fighter and longtime companion of the martyred leader, Haj Qasem (may God have mercy on him), it was a sanctuary as vast as a nation, and its streets became altars of light and blood. When the pure body of the martyred leader was placed in the roaring flood of the people, the "Storm of Awakening" rose in the heart of Iran. This upheaval is a surge from the depths of human nature—a manifestation of the bond between the "committed clergy" and the "conscious masses." Here, the religious-Iranian identity moves from abstraction to tangibility.

This funeral conveys a crushing and terrifying message to the centers of arrogance, America, and the cancerous gland of Israel: "You laid the commander's body to rest, but you made his thought flow in the veins of millions of other Hussain-like figures. Your calculations are void, and your dawn has reached its mournful evening."

And when the caravan of light reaches Qom—the city of Fatima Masuma (SA) and the cradle of Alavid Shiism—the color and scent of the funeral shift from epic to mysticism. **Wednesday, July 7.** Qom is no longer a city of cells and minarets; it is a meeting place for lovers who, for years, have learned the lessons of steadfastness and insight from the presence of their departed companion.

In the sanctuary of the noble lady of the Ahl al-Bayt, and among the seminary of knowledge and piety, the "civilization-building" dimensions of Shiism become apparent. Pens pause on the page, but the essence of his thought becomes eternal on the pages of history. This farewell is a renewal of the covenant of the seminary and the people of Qom with the ideals of the revolution—a message that shows the pillars of the "New Islamic Civilization" stand firm not with the sword, but with the pen, thought, and struggle in the service of Wilayah. And when it reaches the Jamkaran Mosque, it doubles the sense of awaiting (the Imam of the Age).

But the peak of this passionate journey is **Thursday, July 8**, when the pure body crosses geographical borders and arrives in the land of Najaf al-Ashraf and Karbala al-Mu'alla. This is not merely a geographical relocation; it is a "migration from the realm of Iran to the realm of the Ahl al-Bayt."

In Najaf, at the threshold of Amir al-Mu'minin, and in Karbala, at the sanctuary of Sayyid al-Shuhada (AS), the "international" nature of this funeral transforms into its most beautiful image. Millions of pilgrims from Lebanon, Bahrain, Yemen, and across the Islamic world—both Shia and Sunni—shoulder to shoulder with the Iraqis, carry the body of the martyred leader. This scene is the tangible manifestation of the united Islamic Ummah—an Ummah whose leaders' blood has torn apart the artificial borders of colonialism and bound hearts together. In Karbala, the cry of "Haihat minna al-dhilla" (Far be it from us to accept humiliation) echoes through the air, and the global resistance front renews its covenant with the blood of its commanders.

And finally, **Friday, July 9**, the sun of Wilayah, after circumambulating the divine sanctuary in Najaf and Karbala, soars towards the East—towards Razavi Khorasan. Mashhad, the city of the stranger and the refuge of the broken-hearted, in the embrace of the Imam of Kindness, hosts the son of Fatima (SA).

In the holy shrine of Razavi, where the golden zarih (grille) reflects the radiance of the sun of Wilayah, mysticism reaches its peak. The martyred leader now rests beside the "Guarantor of the Gazelle" in a land that was once a refuge for Alavid migrants, entering an eternal sleep and the awakening of the Resurrection. This burial marks the point of connection between the "Islamic Revolution" and the "historical roots of Khurasani Shiism."

These four historical days—from Tehran to Qom, from Najaf and Karbala to Mashhad—were not merely a farewell ceremony; they were the "manifesto of the emergence of the New Islamic Civilization." A civilization built upon Alavid justice, Hussaini sacrifice, Fatimi insight, Ja'fari thought, and Razavi compassion.

The martyred leader has departed, but he has settled in millions of hearts. He who was the architect of this new civilization has now become the cornerstone of this Kaaba of aspirations. The Storm of Awakening in the heart of the Islamic world now, with a thousandfold power, sweeps the dust of arrogance from the face of history and heralds the dawn of divine justice and the emergence of the Promised Mahdi (AJ)—peace be upon him on the day he was born, the day he is raised, and the day he departs...

But behind these tears, laments, and the storm of global crowds, a process of "social alchemy" is taking place. What appears to the ordinary eye as merely a great mourning is, in the sociology of political Shiism, a vast workshop for the production of social capital. The funeral of the martyred leader is a rare moment in history in which "symbolic capital" derived from centuries of Ashura heritage, religious authority, and the charisma of Wilayah transforms with lightning speed into "social capital"—capital that insulates and makes the nation resilient against storms of sedition.

In the theory of political sociology, symbolic capital means the credibility, sanctity, divine legitimacy, and prestige embodied in a symbol. Here, the body of the leader and Hussaini symbols are manifested. But social capital is a network of trust, solidarity, shared norms, and collective action that strengthens society against crises. The four-day funeral, from Tehran to Mashhad, passing through Qom, Najaf, and Karbala, is the greatest machine for converting these two types of capital into one another. This conversion occurs through four key mechanisms:

1. **Transnational networking and the production of cross-border solidarity:** The funeral route—Tehran, Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad—is not merely a geographical movement; it is the "physical mapping of the social networks of the Islamic world." The presence of millions of pilgrims from Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, and elsewhere converts the symbolic capital of "Iranian Shiism" into the social capital of the "Axis of Resistance." These emotional bonds, formed in the context of shared grief, deepen strategic mutual trust among nations and weave the social network of resistance so tightly against the hegemony of arrogance that no sanctions or threats can tear it apart.

2. **Transformation of "individual grief" into "civilization-building collective action":** In many societies, mourning for leaders leads to social passivity, but in the Shia model, grief is tied to "Hussaini passion" and civil activism. The symbolic capital of "martyrdom and Wilayah" transforms into the social norm of "sacrifice and responsibility." The people who move shoulder to shoulder in this funeral are, in fact, reproducing their "social contract" with the Islamic system. This emotional synergy leads to in-group cohesion, trust in the future, and readiness for greater sacrifices on the path to building the New Islamic Civilization.

3. **Reproduction of legitimacy and national resilience against cognitive warfare:** The enemy always tries to target symbols to undermine the people's social capital (trust). But the magnificent funeral of the martyred leader shows that the symbolic capital of the system is rooted in the depths of human nature and the beliefs of the masses. This million-strong presence sends a coded message to the enemies: "You cannot, through soft warfare, break the organic bond between the nation and the school of Hussain." This event has dramatically increased social capital—"public trust" and "national resilience"—and vaccinated society against enemy deceptions.

4. **Institutionalization of the continuity of the system (from person to thought):** The most subtle part of this alchemy is the transition from the "earthly body of the leader" to his "eternal thought." The symbolic capital associated with a personality faces the risk of decline. But the magnificent funeral of the Ummah institutionalizes this capital in the form of the "discourse of resistance" and the "Second Step Statement." Thus, the people's mourning transforms into "social commitment" to continue the path, and tears become "motivational social capital" for faithful and revolutionary youth to carry the banner of civilization-building.

Therefore, these four days were not merely a farewell to a great man; they were the "sociological manifesto" of a civilization—showing how, by relying on the heavenly symbolic capitals of Ashura, Wilayah, and martyrdom, the strongest earthly social capitals—unity, resistance networks, public trust, and civilization-building activism—can be built.

The martyred leader has departed, but the "social network" born from the tears and cries of this funeral is so tightly interwoven that no power in the world will be able to collapse it. This immense social capital is now the fuel for the missile of the "New Islamic Civilization"—a civilization that, not through the force of the sword but through the deep bond between "sacred symbols" and the "collective will of conscious masses," will guide the world toward Mahdist justice (AJ).

The text of the statement is as follows:

"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

'Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God. Among them are those who have fulfilled their vow, and among them are those who await [its fulfillment], and they have not changed [their commitment] in the least.' (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:23)

O noble, brotherly, and revolutionary nation of Iraq! In the days when the heart of the Islamic Ummah and the free people of the world beat with agonizing grief over the martyrdom of the brilliant sun of resistance, the 'Sayyid al-Shuhada of the Islamic Revolution,' your epic, sympathetic, and passionate presence – you noble and loyal people of Iraq – in the funeral ceremonies and commemorations of this great martyr displayed an unparalleled manifestation of the unbreakable bond between the two nations of Iran and Iraq.

This conscious and sincere presence once again proved that the pure blood of the martyrs of Islam, transcending geographical borders, has tied together the faithful and free nations around the lofty ideals of resistance. We will never forget this gracious hospitality and magnificent solidarity of our Iraqi brothers and sisters, which was carried out despite the deep ideological and historical bonds.

Hereby, the World Muslim Women's Union expresses its deep gratitude and appreciation to all the faithful people, proud tribes, distinguished scholars, and resistance groups of the friendly and neighboring country of Iraq, who with their presence in this epic, shook the bodies of the arrogant and consoled the grieving heart of the leadership and the Islamic Ummah.

We ask Almighty God for dignity, security, prosperity, and ever-increasing victories for the government and nation of Iraq on the proud path of resistance and the attainment of the new Islamic civilization."

The nation had a deep heartfelt bond with the martyred leader of the Ummah

Akhund "Ahmad Ata," in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), referring to the exalted status of the martyred leader among the people, stated: "The martyred leader was a divine scholar and an untiring mujahid who, with his wisdom and faith, brought dignity to the nation."

According to him, the nation must know that on the day of the funeral and farewell, it was not merely a personality that was laid to rest; rather, a knowledge that, with strong faith, piety, and situational awareness, had elevated a great nation to the peak of power, was buried. The martyred Imam and leader was a scholar who, with his authoritative command, instilled a fear in the hearts of the enemies of Islam, especially the Jews, that had no precedent before.

The Friday Prayer Leader of Haji Qushan, Gonbad Kavus County, expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the wise leader of the revolution, described this event as a very hard and heartbreaking experience for the Iranian nation and the Islamic world, and said: "Today, we bid farewell and laid to rest a peak of knowledge and wisdom."

He added: "Today, the Islamic Republic is at the peak of its power, and a clear example of this power is the deterrent capability and the launching of missiles that crushed the enemies' bases in the region and even the positions of the Zionists."

According to him, this power is the product of the wise insight and strategic thinking of the martyred leader, who dedicated all his efforts to the pride and power of his nation.

In conclusion, Akhund Ata noted: "The martyred Imam equipped and stood up the Muslim nation of Iran against the disbelievers and Zionism. We hope that Almighty God will join him with the martyrs and the righteous, and that we too will be continuers of the path he charted for the dignity of Islam and Muslims."

Abdul Qadir Alami, the Friday Prayer Leader of Kabul, Afghanistan, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), regarding the position of the discourse of resistance in regional and international equations, stated: "The hegemonic powers and some regional actors have always sought to aggress against Islamic countries, pursuing their aggressive policies from Palestine, Gaza, and Lebanon to Yemen, but they have faced the steadfastness and resistance of nations and resistance groups."

He added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the axis of resistance, under the guidance of the martyred leader, played an effective role in strengthening this movement, and this approach increased the influence of resistance at the regional and global levels."

According to him, after the martyrdom of the martyred leader, the Resistance Axis has continued its path with greater cohesion and strength.

The Friday Prayer Leader of Kabul, regarding the reason for Palestine being at the center of the unity of the Islamic Ummah, also stated: "Al-Quds (Jerusalem), as the first qibla of Muslims, is under the occupation of the Zionist regime, and the Palestinian people, as the guardians of this land, deserve the full support of the Islamic world."

He emphasized that since the beginning of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, support for the Palestinian cause has become one of the fundamental principles of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this approach continues.

In conclusion, Alami described the intellectual legacy of the martyred leader as a comprehensive model for resistance and steadfastness against the pressures and threats of the enemies and the hegemonic system, and noted: "Utilizing these ideas can further consolidate and strengthen the future of the Resistance Axis."

A Lebanese scholar's heartfelt reflection on the days of the funeral of the martyred leader of the Ummah

From the morning of Monday in Tehran, the city seemed to beat with a single heart. That vast multitude was not merely numbers; each face carried a story, a gaze, a tear, a memory. I saw men whose years had weighed heavily on their shoulders, yet they walked with firm, youthful steps; women who hid their tears behind veils of pride; and children whose eyes were fixed on the funeral processions—though they did not grasp every detail, they deeply felt that this day was unlike any other.

Then Tuesday arrived in Qom, where the grandeur of the place blended with the warmth of emotion. The streets had turned into a sea of people—a sea in which chants echoed like restless waves, flags intertwined with prayers, and grief transformed into a universal prayer that transcended the boundaries of words. There I felt that the mourners were not merely walking on the ground, but carrying within their hearts a legacy of loyalty and devotion.

When Wednesday's ceremony reached Najaf and Karbala, the scene appeared as if it were the extension of a single conscience—a conscience that does not recognize geography as borders. This time, before the steps moved in the processions, the souls advanced first. Voices rose with slogans expressing anger, grief, and a demand for justice, while eyes remained fixed on an ideal that does not end with the passing of individuals.

And today, Thursday, in Mashhad, what was witnessed was beyond description. A flood of people poured from every direction—faces bound together by a single feeling, as if all cities had gathered in one city, and all times condensed into a single hour. Each face told a story, each tear wrote a line, and each slogan arose not merely from the throat, but from the depths of emotion. The slogans chanted by the mourners were not mere words echoing in the air; they were reflections of anger, sorrow, and steadfastness—expressions of a clear demand for response, justice, and accountability. The voices rose so high that they filled the city's atmosphere with a passion so intense it seemed as though the entire city was chanting along with them.

People may differ in politics, and their perceptions and positions may vary, but no one can deny that the scene of that vast multitude—faces worn by tears and hearts gathered around a shared feeling—leaves a profound mark on the human soul. Some moments are not measured merely by the number of attendees, but by the lasting images they leave in human memory—images that even the passage of time cannot easily erase.

And so these days, from Tehran to Qom, and from Najaf and Karbala to Mashhad, passed like pages of a novel that the multitude wrote with their steps, watered with their tears, and signed with their loyalty. These scenes—however much narrations about them may differ—will remain testimony that collective emotion, when it reaches its peak, can create images that will linger in memory for years to come—where description sometimes falls short of keeping pace with what the eyes see and the heart feels.
